Hello,
Having problems with DAB reception I thought I would investigate the DAB aerial connection on the backplane of my cars AVIC-Z710DAB. It looked OK but I've found that disconnecting it still allows the unit to receive DAB stations and only when disconnecting the AM/FM aerial lead does DAB reception cease. Is this correct, what is the purpose of the windscreen mounted DAB aerial as it seems it's not needed as reception works via the AM/FM aerial?
