while the sony is just dab
the chinese one has 20 presets for dab

the frustrating thing about both radios is getting the presets set up
I ve got some on both radios but they are there by chance or luck... endless ly pressing buttons...
theres no .... sure ... system of doing it, I ve read the instructions ... it sound s great
until you try and do it

its frustrating having 20 presets but no real control over them
thanks for any advice or comments

Hello silverbirch2003,

I am sorry to hear that you have problems saving presets on your DAB radios.
As your post was some time ago, you may well have resolved the problem by now.
However, in case you have not:
I do not have your specific DAB radios but I do have quite a few.
All that I have seem to use exactly the same system to store presets.
1. Bring up the services list by whatever means the radio uses.
2. Scroll through until you come to the service you want stored in a preset.
3. Select that service.
4. Once the rado stream from that service is playing;
press and hold, for a few seconds, the preset button that you want the service saved under.
It shoud be done.😃
A brief press on that button and your stored service should play.

The usual reason for a service not being stored is failure to hold the button for long enough.
If your radios do not use this system, please attach a copy of the instructions covering saving presets.

Good luck and best regards, John.
