There's a new firmware update for the Uniden UBCD3600XLT. To update, open Sentinel and check for updates. Follow the instructions, including the instruction once the firmware has been downloaded - IT'S IMPORTANT!

Hello Brunlea,
Do you find your 3600 is very deaf compared with your 3500?
I certainly do with mine.

To be honest, John, I only really use it for airband on an external antenna (D-777), and I find it performs really well. It's probably on par with my IC-R15 on the same antenna.

I've stored my 3500 away as I no longer use it now, mainly as I've no room on my desk for any more radios

I'm surprised you use a digital scanner for Air Band Brunlea,
I find my 3500 far more convenient for Air/MilAir.
I was going to also ask if you find some digital networks annoying as they keep sending short bursts of signal but no traffic and stop a scan from continuing, sometimes for ages!
